"On our recent visit to some friends in Fayetteville, we stopped in Santee and visited Clark’s.
Our room was very comfortable and our meal in the restaurant was excellent. Staying at Clark’s was one of the highlights of our trip!
Also, we appreciated the gift shop and the Santee Digest.
Prior to our trip, I searched online for good places to stay. As I recall, we found you on the I-95 exit guide site.
We appreciate that Clark’s is family run and look forward to visiting again."
“Love this place. It never disappoints. Our traditional stop on our way to and from Florida so happy to find that they've reopened after carona shutdown ”
Clark's Restaurant, located in Santee, South Carolina, was a pleasurable dining experience. If you want the really good restaurants ask the locals. And the locals said to eat at Clark's. We sat outside in the courtyard, which was comfortable and quaint. The wait staff were friendly and attentive. The building is very nice, with an Inn attached. The food was good!
We stopped for the night this past Friday on our way home from Richmond and had a wonderful dinner in the courtyard. To the couple we met from Holly Hill who paid for our dinner, Semper Fi to your father and grandfather. We tried to pay it forward to our server and hope she benefits. Our fried chicken dinner was excellent. Our room was cozy and we met some great fellas from Millen Georgia (Go Dawgs!) and shared some laughs as well as drinks and cards. My wife had just lost her mother and the whole experience was salve to her heart. Looking forward to future visits.
“Just spent a beautiful weekend at Clark’s Inn – our little Williamsburg!! Love the Inn, the restaurant, the pub and the Gift Shop!! Thanks for a great weekend! Our 4th visit – and we’ll be back!”
“We stay at here every time we drive down. The people are so nice ,the food from the diner is excellent. The breakfast is a full meal and they gave us a full container of coffee for the road. Great Place”
“We ate at the bar on the way up to Boston and absolutely loved the atmosphere and service. We decided to stay at the hotel on the way back. Rooms were beautiful and very reasonably priced. Had dinner at the bar and Jonathan, the bartender, remembered us! Made us feel very at home. We will definitely be staying here again and again on our travels!”
“Hubs and I fell in love with our dining experience five or so years ago, and make a point of stopping here every time we travel from Florida to North Carolina and Ohio. Finally spent the night this Spring and was delighted with our room and the swimming pool. Have recommended to many.”
“Awesome food and way above awesome staff! It’s Cheers x 10!“ A. Bendheim
“Absolutely enchanting! The atmosphere was beautifully relaxing, sophisticated yet unpretentious. My first, but certainly not my last, visit!”
“I had my wedding at Clarks inn on November 14th. I didn’t want to worry about setting up or breaking down so I left it up to them to set up the dining area and center pieces. It was absolutely gorgeous, I couldn’t have planned it any better! We got married in the small courtyard by the fountain and had ample room for our 60 guests. After dinner we moved across the parking lot to the Santee Room for the reception. It was so convenient having everything at one area! There was a set up for our DJ, the courtyard had a bonfire going for us with chairs as it was cold, and when the night was over we walked 30 feet to our honeymoon suite, can’t beat that!
Clarks was very accommodating, the food is beyond delicious! I highly recommend the tuna steak and I’m not a seafood person normally, it’s that good. The old charm and friendly staff make this place a must see if you’re looking for venues.”
